No to be honest I didnt I just wanted to get out and work . Once in the workplace and earning I then became keen to learn more and undertake training and qualification in relevant subjects to better myself in the job and prove I could do as good a job as some with more qualifications leaving school – and I did prove that .

Some of the time. Early on in secondary school I was bullied a bit, but when I made friends it was ok. I had some great teachers and not so great teachers.

I enjoyed most part of school, mainly about biology and chemistry. Not that keen on art but after that found out that I love art, just didn’t like how it was structured in school

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. I think a lot depends on your teachers, how well you get on with them and how passionate they are about the subjects they teach.

Yes I really did enjoy school – I have always enjoyed learning about new things and having my friends around me. School is somewhere that you can build good memories for life and the lessons you learn are often about yourself and other people as well as academic studies

School was ok, I am a lot more focused on assignments and learning now than I was when I was at school. My favourite subject was maths, I found English the hardest subject.

I enjoyed my last few years of school. Mostly for all the friends I made but also due to some great and encouraging teachers.
I messed around a lot in the early years so I had a lot of time to make up!

I got on very well with lessons, and I was lucky to have good teachers. I struggled with making friends – I was always a little different from the other people in my classes. Funnily enough as soon as I was out at work I never had a problem making friends again!

Yes, I did like school – I had a good set of close friends who had similar interests and the school were really supportive, both academically and for my sporting interests. They used to allow me to come out for 2 hours a week to attend additional tennis training.

Yes and no. I was a bit too shy maybe and now I wish that I had taken more opportunities (e.g. sports clubs)

I loved school. Enjoyed learning and partaking in extra-curricular activities. My tip is to work hard in school as those sacrifices for those few years will pay off for the rest of your life 🙂

I enjoyed school overall. Whilst it can have its ups and downs, it’s somewhere you get to be with lots of friends at the same time and there are teachers who genuinely want to support and guide you.

yeah I really enjoyed it (ups and downs of course but overall it was great).
I find it quite easy to get excited about subjects and so they are easy to learn. This is the same now, I love learning new things – im doing woodworking a lot now and recently made a guitar!

On the whole yes but there were times when I found it difficult due to bullying.
I enjoyed lessons where the content was made fun and interactive – English was my favourite subject.
