I don’t work clinically but if I was the change my job in the NHS I think I’d be a nurse.

If wasn’t going to work in the NHS, I’d be working for charity or running my own record / bookshop / cafe

I have absolutely no idea! Possibly a psychologist, that really interests me but I am happy doing what I do.

If I was not a nurse I think I would be working with animals. Maybe a vet or a veterinary nurse.

I still cannot decided what I really want to do! Life changes and so do your choices and opportunities. I would never leave the health care profession – right now I work in an office environment and I think in a few years I will work more with patients again in the hospital – I do miss working with patients. I know what ever I do in the future will be linked somehow. there are so many jobs in healthcare you will eventually find your passion.

Great question! I think I would join the police if I had to change my job. The great thing about nursing though is that there are so many different types of nursing. I have worked in hospitals, in peoples homes and now in a GP practice but there are so many different areas to work in such as in prisons, schools, police, the army and many more!

I would love to do more social research. I’m good at the skills that go into it, and I enjoy finding out about people’s lives and challenging assumptions.

This is a tough question, I love being a pharmacist and feel that being a pharmacist gives you the opportunity to work in many environments. However, I probably would have become a teacher if I had not become a pharmacist. My current role working part time for a University allow me to live out both dreams!

I honestly can’t think of being anything else apart from a doctor so a tough question! Probably something in finance where I can use my analytical skills?

If I had to change now, I would become an Actuary. It involves a similar type of decision making as being a doctor in terms of managing risk and uncertainty. If I had to change later on in life, I would become a postman! I think it would help me to keep fit and healthy.

I think I’d probably be a dermatologist. I find that area really interesting, it has a lot of practical skills and lots of opportunities to do different work.

If it wasnt in medicine, Id be a teacher I think or an actor/musician 🙂 the latter however is a bit irregular with work and money – money isnt everythign though!
